A latch only grown-ups can open (at first)
The child-proof door keeps curious toddlers inside and busy siblings out — until they figure it out. Which takes about a week. Then you're glad it's still holding.
HutoCada · Wooden Play Yard
(Or rather, with something sturdy between you and the living room floor.)
The HutoCada playpen gives your toddler a wooden enclosure to occupy — a few supervised minutes of relative peace. It assembles tool-free (mostly), the wood can be wiped down daily, and when the day is done it folds flat against the wall. It's designed for ages 1–3 … roughly. (Before they get serious.)
Measured for the early years

Almost outgrown — but still fine. Mostly.
Why HutoCada
Five small details that make it clear your toddler could have stayed in the box they came in.
The child-proof door keeps curious toddlers inside and busy siblings out — until they figure it out. Which takes about a week. Then you're glad it's still holding.
Rounded edges and a finish that feels nice against little hands. No splinters in the first month. The month after, you'll find a few — just a couple, really. Don't look too closely.
Collapses in seconds for stacking against the wall — or a weekend at grandma's. Shake it out first. A few wood-spring tabs appear from time to time. You don't even know how they got there.
24 of wood keep toddlers in … most of the time. You still see what they're up to from the sofa. That's the point.
Snack time happens. Crayon marks happen. A damp cloth and ten seconds — the next morning the playpen looks fine again. The one after that, too. (Actually, you'll find yourself wiping it every few days.) Just let it air dry fully before closing it up.
From every angle
"We forget it's in the corner until the toddler pops out through the gap near the floor. Then we remember. We bought two."

Set up in minutes
Everything clips together. No screws, no strain — and the instructions are more like suggestions.
Pop the panels open on any flat floor. They stand up on their own, though one or two may lean to the left. Take a deep breath: that subtle wood-and-glue aroma is completely normal. (It fades. Maybe. You'll still notice it when you first open it each morning.)
Click each plastic connector into place. Four corners, six clips, maybe a seventh if you count the door hinge. The frame looks sturdy — because at this point, it is. The plastic will develop play over time. That's fine. It still does the job.
Run your finger along each panel seam. If the fit is good, great. If your toddler is a nibbler, one of these seams might just do it. That's where the two small tabs come in handy. You'll find them under the couch occasionally. That's okay too.
Close, hear the click. One small piece of plastic engages. It holds well enough for a nap. For running and jumping… well. You're standing right there anyway.
The details
A generous-enough play space that fits right in — and folds away when the day is done. (Or when guests stop by.)
Measurements are taken by hand, so allow ±1 cm. The wood is natural — expect it to darken with sun exposure and develop fine hairline cracks near the joints after about six months. Normal wear. The plastic corner connectors clip on securely … until one pops loose. This happens eventually. Not a defect — just physics. A quick press and it's back. If you fold the playpen for longer than a week, leave a narrow gap between the panels. Closed wood gets stuffy. Stuffy wood gets musty. Musty wood means it's time to wipe. Tiny plastic tabs come loose over time. Your toddler will try one on for size. They're safe by design — but check the gaps monthly if curiosity runs high. For the exact folded size: check the Amazon listing.
Good to know
Toddlers from about 1 to 3 years old. The 24 walls are low enough to see over, tall enough to contain (most days). Some toddlers outgrow it. Some just get better at latches.
Yes — no tools required. Unfold, click the corner connectors into place, latch the door. If the fourth corner doesn't line up, adjust the panels and try again. We've all been there. Works fine after.
Play space is 56×56 (142×142 cm) with 24 tall walls — plenty of room for one toddler to pace or two to slowly drift apart.
The frame is sturdy wood with sanded, rounded edges. The door has a child-proof latch only grown-ups can open easily. The plastics are low-toxicity and the gaps are designed to avoid pinching. Small tabs come free occasionally — no sharp edges. We still recommend supervising. The playpen helps, it doesn't replace you.
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. We say "when needed" because snack crumbs and spilled milk happen and the wood-soak-dry cycle is best kept predictable. Dry it fully before closing it up the same day — that's how you go months without spotting a little musty smell or a tiny wood-friend deciding to move in. Deep clean every few months. Your toddler finds something new on the floor every six weeks anyway.
